Week 6 Part A: Engaging your Customers


The businesses I chose to like as my page were: Vans, Melk, Thrasher Magazine, QuickSilver, ONeil, RVCA, and GoPro. 

I chose to like the following businesses because of their posting content and how much they engage their customers. It is quite amazing to see these brands pretty much everywhere, to the pointy where I own clothing garments from most of these brands. 

The posting style of the mentioned brands is enhanced by professional pictures and videos which always display their products as the main center of attention. It captivates the audience by offering adventurous videos of surfing or skateboarding to then present the product with strong promoting clips, which arguments customer engagement. 

If I was to take a valuable lesson form all this, is that a brand needs to offer a story behind its products. It cannot simply release a design and hope individuals will buy it simply because it looks nice. It is more of what it represent. The video and images behind it is what people buy, not a dry content product.
