Week 7 Part B: How Other Businesses Use Instagram.

 

    In this week post, I will be addressing the topic of how businesses utilize Instagram as their promoting vessel. Also, I will be conducting a general comparison of the manners of Instagram usage between business profiles. 

    In class, there is a plethora of businesses types. With this wide variety, the way each individual utilizes Instagram will differ. This is due to the overall nature of each businesses. For example: the differences from a food inclined shop versus a clothing brand, will be strongly remarked. In fact, the way they promote their products, dishes, or services will vary. 

    My classmates are using Instagram in ways which differ from my profile. However, every clothing brand are very similar in set up and advertising techniques. 

    Another key factor that I noticed is that the field of services is utilizing plenty of short videos to display a before and after scene. This encourages trust within the audience and strongly offers itself for such service. In instagram, short videos are called “reels”, and have a longer reach in the media. More than pictures and stories, reels can be channeled into specific audiences by adding a “hashtag” in the content of the reel.
